That is so true. I have had seeds sitting in pots for a couple of years before they sprouted. By then I had already planted some other seeds in the same pot so it's a real surprise to see what is growing!! Rolling on the floor laughing

I have found that the best way is to plant in the fall and that way they will be exposed to the elements. Some will sprout right away, working their roots in and overwintering. But, whatever temps suit them best will often prompt them to grow. Sometimes there is the scarification factor, so on harder seeds, or fruit seeds, it's often a good idea to give them a little sandpaper rub or knick them. Wintersowing works pretty good too, as you know! Thumbs up Big Grin
