That's how I document history (2007), the year it got down to 18 degrees and some lilies turned into mush. I remember protecting them with blankets, plastic, buckets, anything I could find, still, there was no protecting them from temps as low as those.

We have no control over mother nature. But if the warm trends continue, lily season should be done by July! Well, we just have to hope for the best. It was so mild too this winter that the LOs look to have tripled! That is, if the weather cooperates.

Weather has been a bit strange for you too pard, hasn't it? Are you usually this cold? Wet, yes. But cooler temps? I think in Seattle, they may have had more snow than we have this year. Now that is very strange.

Dr. Griesbach is such a nice man. I am a fan. He lives very close to a nursery I frequent as well Smiling
