I think you're area looks great. I'm sure it would work if you can secure it well enough. It's hard for me to tell about how heavy or solid it is so how well it would stay put.. If you get a lot of wind, I don't know. But if you think you can secure it well enough against the wind, try it. I guess that's the only way to know for sure.

MW grows quickly. It also likes some shade.
I garden for the pollinators.
