It is also too hot so the early part goes hand in hand.
The Arugula can be watched and when those tons of seed pods begin to dry you can pull them up. Meanwhile they keep blooming and putting on more seed.
I'm fascinated watching them so if anyone needs seed I should have a ton of it also.
