I took a few pictures today with my other camera. I only had time to get one here and there. Maybe more tomorrow...
First is our very first daylily bloom of the year--Cosmic Hummingbird that is registered as an early early. There are 9 scapes so we should have a clump picture later on. It is a good rebloomer here.
Next is the front of our house. Left is the first deciduous azalea that we dug from the woods years ago and to the right is a pink dogwood.
Deciduous azalea with white evergreen azaleas, conifers, and lorepetalum in the background. In the far background are bags of Lowe's top soil ready for a new project.
Light pink deciduous azalea and dogwoods with the Shady Rest (cabin) in the background.
In front of the cabin is a tree peony with its first blooms today. I would love to have several different colors of tree peonies scattered around. I grew this one from a tiny thing bought at Walmart years ago.
Here is a closeup.
