Palatine sells out quickly. This year they started taking orders on September 1st. I placed my order shortly after 9:00 pm here on August 31st, knowing it was already after midnight in Ontario.
I have received some smaller plants from Pickering, but only if I take delivery late in the season. The best roses are shipped out in winter and sometimes the only ones left by spring are smaller. Pickering, however, knocks $2 off the cost of those smaller roses, in contrast to other mail-order merchants.
