Hi Song,

My grandson is seven and when he was about 4 and was spending a lot of time with me, he knew when I was writing it was time for him to entertain himself. I usually had a couple of morning writing hours and again a couple of hours in the evening. He always wanted to know what I was writing so I told him I was writing about memories, things I remember about times spent with my grandmother and aunts long ago. He told me that he and I were making memories too and that maybe I should write about them. I told him that would be his job when he got a little older. Recently when he was here, just the two of us one evening, he answered the phone because I was working at the computer. It was his dad calling and I heard Ethan say to him: "Nana can't come to the phone right now, she's working on our rememberings."

Don't think I'll ever forget that. Rememberings are so important.

Thanks Song, for reading the article.
Happy Rememberings.
