Some of these parent plants may cover more than just a genus.

Some may cover less than full genus, but rather a single species (like Hibiscus syriacus, for example).

Others cover multiple species within a single genus.

So adding the latin name after the common name isn't practical across the board. Having said that, however, we can make the names be whatever we want them to be on a case by case basis. So if there are certain ones that you want me to read "Common (Genus)" or "Genus: Common" or whatever, we can do that. But it wouldn't apply automatically across the board. But I think that flexibility is actually a good thing.
