Thank you. I knew what house colors I wanted and my boss gave me the paint job as a housewarming. Knew I wanted at least a few roses, even if I did have to water some. Other than that, very little was planned. Had an idea for one small section, started in and would think, "Hmm...I bet THAT will go over THERE." or, "Oooh, I have those old walkway pavers in the back yard. Let's bring them up front and try them THERE." So, it just evolved. I blame Mamajack and Bob Selman of Blue Ridge Daylilies for the most growth in the last two years. Bob is the seller from whom I first learned that most sellers give bonus plants with each order and his are *great*, so I bought dozens and dozens. Found Cubits through DG, stumbled across mamajack's cubit, found out she only lives 20 miles from me, and bought so much through her sales I HAD to dig up more planting spaces! Hilarious! Which sounds better than, "I hate this grass and look for any excuse to get rid of it."
It’s okay to not know all the answers.
