I've got some katydids also. They always eat foliage around my place every year and make lots of noise later on. Just happened that I was looking for a place to post about a weird beetle I noticed lately. So today I started an insects and bugs thread on the Gardening for Wildlife forum. Just thought I'd mention that...wasn't sure where insects should go.
