Oh, that's a good picture,Polly! You wouldn't know it from looking at any picture, but its mushy/juicy for sure! I had a few in the corners that 'got it'. A couple of them survived and continued to grow right on up and thru that mushy top but are deformed.

I overlooked my Crocosmia 'lucifer' and it got 'bit' also but it continued to spiral up and looks good now; didn't know they were so sensitive as well.
