Betty, we had to get rid of some to make room for Judy's daylilies and I had to move daylilies all around to open up this unusual form bed. I did this last fall when I should have been planting daylilies that had been in pots for months. We have been needing to downsize and still do more so. We have run out of room, but I seem to manage to find a small space here and there for another small bed. I have just found another small area for some dips still in pots. It is getting harder and harder to find these spaces!

Everytime I saw Judy's on the Lily Auction I was drawn to them, but they always went for more than I wanted to spend. Then one day last summer I decided that I wanted to hybridize for tall unusual forms because that was what I am most drawn to. (I like all daylilies!) Who better to get stock from than Judy! I started by buying what she still had for sale last fall, picked up some others that she used in her program (and we already had some of those), and added more from her this spring. I am looking forward to hers blooming in the next month. I will share pictures.
