I wish my photography looked as good as some of the plants. It would help if I changed the settings on the camera when I go outside. Hilarious! It seems all of the plants and yard just exploded this year ... probably due to our very warm winter.

And, ka-ching, the Red Hot Pokers someone sent me in a swap are starting to bloom. Poor things are stuck in an area with mega tree roots. I'm hoping they will now row run. Even the ditch lilies there struggled (imagine that!) but they are about bloom as well.


Gotta celebrate the small victories. That's a tough, tough area for planting anything in the ground.
