I would only had one thing...if you are cutting roses, cut them just as buds are showing good color and make sure the stems are longer than your vase....when you get them inside and preparing them for you arrangement cut the stems under water to the desired length....water should be a bit warm, when ready to arrange they will be ready. As the days go by and the rose tends to wilt, take out of the vase, and cut a bit off under wayer again then stand them in a container that you filled with hot water (like you would make tea from) and when the water cools re-arrange you roses in the vase. This will revive them and extend their life for you to enjoy longer.
