I can imagine when they are in bloom, it is so rewarding to you. My oriental poppies are in bloom and each day another one pops open and blending in with Mrs. Bradshaw geum, so pretty. I'd love to have a camera that would take the picture of one opening in slow motion, all the different stages of that poppy bulb opening. It is a lot of work but well worth it.
