Melissa those are some steep prices!! I paid $ 30 for the yellow but it is a tiny plant. I could have gotten a nice sized one for $ 100....
the $ 30 was barely in my budget!
We can get generic, usually without much of a caudex, for around $ 10-12 at Home Depot etc.
Of course I am aware that there are people willing to part with huge sums of money for something special, and I have splurged in the past. I know a person who paid $ 500 for a Plumeria cutting several years ago. As with all rare plants, pretty soon they're not so rare anymore and will be cheaper. So - these days I tend to wait...
