I planted mine in front of a pink grootendorst rose and there is a decorative wire fence in front of walker's low so it is pretty well supported. The rose has lots of thorns and the nepeta helps keep the weeds from growing there so little weeding is needed. The rose sometimes gets kind of leggy which the nepeta camouflages making it looks nice. I still cut the nepeta back by about half later in the season with a pruning shears. By the way the walker's low has been in my garden at least ten years so it is a long lived plant.
If you want to be happy for a lifetime plant a garden!
Faith is the postage stamp on our prayers!
