Sure you can use them for cut flowers. It does not smell nasty, but it will go green in time, but by then your cut flowers will have wilted already, so you can just wash it or let the gels dry up and re-use next time.

Usually for my cut flowers, I would give them water with some Sprite or 7-up, they love it better Big Grin
