Grandkids and I bought a bowling ball at local thrift shop for a buck, got 352 pennies and a tube of pure silicon, glued the pennies to the ball and made a real eye-catching gate stopper. We also did a bowling ball with 1/2" square mirror tiles--our garden disco ball, and it is also gorgeous. We didn't get any more done as the parent INSISTED that I return the grandkids. Drat! Our junior Master Gardeners took hold of the idea. A local bowling alley gave them 10 bowling balls which they covered with pennies and sold for $15.00 each. I joined ATF yesterday and don't have the foggiest notion of how to transmit a photo, but I WILL LEARN. Jean
