Great pics, Jim. No matter how often I go to Selby, I've never seen it all. Never noticed that Mazari Palm, but now that you posted it, I'll look for it. Nothing like seeing a familiar place through somebody else's eyes, or camera lens. They do change the displays quite often, too, especially in the greenhouse. Love that Den - it looks like its under water with its hair floating upwards!

I've been shopping for the blue saw palmetto with the same results as you - all you can get are expensive, slow-growing small plants. The key, I think, is that they are so slow - fast-growing stuff is easy to propagate and so it's cheap. I keep explaining this to my kids who ask why orchids are so expensive - relatively slow growers, too. Takes years and so much tlc to get a plant to sale-able size.
