Cinda,
That Patty's Plum is so pretty. Have you noticed that the foliage is not the same on all varieties of the poppies? I thought I had wintersowed Patty's Plum, according to my WS records for 2011 and I went online and found that the one I have is Lauren's Grape. I could tell by the foliage. Its foliage looks more like in the cabbage or kale family and it is very tall.like 49 in. for one plant and 40 in. for the other one. I definately need to move that to back of the border in the Fall.
