I have some spiderworts in bright shade. Can they take full, all day sun with no supplemental watering?

There are two wildflower meadows back there; each are approx. a quarter, to a half-acre, I'd say. We mowed it the first fall and so far, that's it. I'm pretty sure, anyway. *Blush* The couple of years after my son was born are a bit of a blur in my (gardening) memory. I think it's in its eighth or ninth year. The first several years we mostly just planted trees in the back section.
