I'm in eastern NE and seeing a lot of leaf streak too. Leaves are browning and drying up earlier than normal and lots of scapes are drying and buds aborting. Not a good year for daylilies overall, although some are doing very well. I would blame the drying scapes on the dry weather, but it's as bad in front where I water occasionally as it is in back where I hardly ever water.
