here is his answer about pruning.....


If I want to prune my adenium or if necessary to prune my adenium I will prune always two months before monsoon. This is ideal for my climate.

For Florida I think it is better to prune your adenium three months before monsoon.
Never repot or prune your adenium during or just before monsoon.
Minimize your fertilizer application or do not apply fertilizer, from two months before monsoon and that makes your plant harder and ready to face the monsoon weather.
As you said your media is well drained one the cause of tip and stem rots are because of continuous rain of the monsoon. Apply or drench the pots once in 15 days with copper oxychloride fungicide or equvalant to this fungicide available there.

so no pruning for me now time to look for this chemical
