I bought 25 Menorcas from them four or five years ago; earlier in the season tho. They worked out real good for me. Gave most away in a change over. Of the three I have left, the gopher (picture I posted) was caught in a hole right under them. The only thing I have against late season planting is if the ground is so warm, the bulb grows a plant so fast the stem doesn't have time to develope a good set of stem roots.. And, of course, you're banking on a long, late fall for bulb rebuilding. Not that it can't be done tho--heck--if anybody can do it, we can! And we all have!!
