i think if you turn more often you keep the leaves from turning toward the light and its ok If you wait till your leaves are turned to much and hit they side or under the leave it will cause damage to the leaf wich might cause it to drop thats not to bad but i would be more worried about the caudex getting sunburned that ia lot more shock to the plant

and if you have under cover for a longer period it is best to slowly introduce to full sun over a good week
