Growing up this was a regular salad ingredient both at my parents and grandparents. I didn't know it was Purslane until recently and I agree with your husband about it tasting lemony. Glystritha is a common ingredient in many Greek dishes but I still like it best in salad. Or something to munch on in the garden. It's great to hear it's good for you to boot.
