Hmm, my "Control Panel" has THREE sub-contr5ol panels for Java ... one main one and two for plugins. Both plugins show "registry key not found". The main one says "use Browser settings".
None mention javascript explicitly, but I think many bells and whistles do depened on Javascript, so SOME form of it is probably runing somewhere.
I think I'll report the missing registry keys to IT, just to bedevil them or give them a chance to show off their esoteric knowledge.
Thank Ghu I only have to do embedded control! hardwqare makes sense, and either works or it doesn't. Once I wander into the minefield of commercial software systems, I feel like the hunted humans in the future of Terminator-1-2-N. I already fear The Machine!
I bet, at home, with FireFox, both features work fine.
