Charter ATP Member Greenhouse Cat Lover Raises cows Region: Wisconsin
A neighbor's barn burned this morning.........he's got about 90 cows, but.............they had just finished milking so good that someone was there. Real kicker is the owner is in Missouri.............some vacation, eh? Wonder how long it will take him to get back here. I guess no animals were lost. We went by there about an hour ago, fire depts. still there. Hay in that barn will smolder forever. No cause as of yet. Another neighbor close to us is building (or perhaps it is finished; haven't asked) anothe big free-stall barn and I know he doesn't have enough animals to fill it. Guess those cows will be living there for now. They were being hauled up there by other neighbors and trailers.
