I sure hope so. I know this has happened before to me. I had a seedling in the backyard that bloomed consistently double. I moved it to my doubles bed in the front yard. For the first 2 years it bloomed only single. This year it is finally starting to bloom double again. I guess it just takes time for some to settle in.
