What *is* it with earwigs? Almost all season I haven't had any, and now all the sudden it's raining earwigs! DISGUSTING. I'm OK w/most bugs, but there's something about earwigs that makes my stomach crawl.. not to mention when I have one on my arm! OMG! Today I was taking some pictures of some of the roses (I watered SOOOO heavily yesterday due to the damned heat again.. )

Anyways, took a few pictures of a couple of blooming roses. This was taken either Sunday morning or this morning.

Where the aspen used to be in my front yard, I put a bird feeder (I need to replace it.. I got a cheapo plastic one that always falls apart) and planted "blue" roses around the stump. Here's what that looks like. Upper left is Melody Parfumee, lower left is Singin' the Blues, right of the pedestal is Angel Face, and far right is BlueGirl. Also have a Sterling Silver in there between BlueGirl & Singin' the Blues, but it's not blossoming.

Oranges & Lemons almost looks like it's being overrun by an agastache. (2009, local nursery)

Ketchup & Mustard is showing a little more Ketchup & Mustard rather than pink & white (2012, local nursery)

Colorific (2012, local nursery) (actually showing color & not washed out!)

Here's the bouquet I took into the office today that was covered in earwigs. GROSS!!! I didn't get shots of the Hawkeye Belle, New Year, Sunsprite, SolarFlash, Scentimental, Yankee Doodle, or Voluptuous! individually.

And my purple "hummingbird mint" agastache (can't remember the exact "type" as it was just marked Hummingbird Mint but I know it's an Agastache cana, please excuse the totes everywhere! Those are my weeding totes & one I keep full of water for the birds in the front)
