Okay..I'd like to try propagating cuttings from an azalea bush that I just love the color of. I have been doing research on what is needed. Some recommend equal parts of perlite, vermitculite, and peat. One said something about spagnum moss..Is that the same as peat? I have purchased spagnum peat moss..is that one and the same product I need or is Peat labeled just Peat, not spagnum peat moss?

I want to make sure I don't chose the wrong product..

Maybe some of you use other products instead of the above. I know you take a cutting from the new growth and it will snap when bent. I also need something like Rootone..which I have.

Can I use a gal size nursery pot and stick many cuttings in same pot? Should I take and cover with plastic bag, held up by sticks or wire so the plastic won't touch the plants?
