thanks for all the kind words Smiling . the fence does keep out alot of critters. if you look beside the oak tree you'll see i have a mound going on there with winter squash and bush beans...... so far nothing has touched those except for the squirrels falling out of the tree a wiping out two of the squash plants and all the acorns they knock loose.....putting holes all through my winter squash and melons..... i forgot to mention i planted melons in tires just outside the back of the fenced in garden. figured the black tires would help keep soil temps up and i used black plastic trash bags over the top of the soil to help keep the moisture in with a few holes poked in it to let water in Big Grin
