Ditto to Dracaena marginata! They are easy to propagate too ... just cut the canes anywhere along the stems, let dry and callous over for a couple of days and then pot them up in a small pot with well draining potting medium. Place in a bright location but with no direct sunlight and water sparingly ... roots should appear in a few weeks time. On the mother plant, new growth will sprout just below where the cane is cut. This is one in the ground that I cut the top from ... it's sporting two new growths and the dark green spot in the center is also another emerging branch.
