The broccoli is grown in the large veggie garden bed so it's grown in regular dirt that's been heavily augmented with horse manure for 25 years.
It is watered by a dripper that is on a timer. The broccoli are far enough apart that they each get their own dripper rather than dripline. I use dripline for the row crops such as corn, beats, carrots, peas and beans.
