ok I did not think possible but i dont like to give up so i just took these photos of the ones i have that i think are rooting due to they are starting to form leaves and have been in these pots for a few weeks and these have not rotted

NOW dont get me wrong I am hopeful these are rooting.....maybe not it is not common in any way but i am hoping....i know i have thrown a ton of these away for sure!!
