Jay, I hate to tell you but I think you are wrong. The leaves on this plant, if you look really close are very different than the Gardenia Jasminoides. They are deep green and shiny, These are pale green and not at all shiny. Good guess but I am afraid I must disagree. Please don't stop trying and don't be mad at me for disagreeing.
