I have been watching and notating some gardening videos on Yout Tube that I find very easy to comprehend and it gives me more confidence in attempts to propagate. This morning I watched one on How to root roses, How to change the color of hydrangeas, How to take cutting to root hydrangeas, Hostas, daylilies and many more. I just planted some daylilies that a neighbor of my church friend gave me. This "Red" daylily which he had no ID for it, evidently had been in the pot for a long time. I was able to make 5 plants from it. Now I just have to remember to make plant ID tags for them. Came in because the mosquitos were eating me up. Need to find my insect repellant and apply it before I got back out again. Mulched them and fed them MG transplant solution. Next thing is do today is cut the plumes from the liatris and save them for their seeds.

Later on this afternoon, it's to the library to return some gardening books and to Home Depot for Sluggo as the slugs are eating my Prairie sun rudbeckias.
Saw a bit fast juicy one today but I chopped him with my trowel.

Just thought I'd pass this information about YouTube videos on to newbies who might be browsing these forums.
