Quote:
"If you are working out in the hot sun all day and forget to bring drinks with you, you are at risk of developing a condition called heat stroke."
It does not take working all day to give a person heat stroke! Heat illness can come about rapidly, especially in humid conditions, especially with people taking medications as common as antihistamines. Anyone who is overweight or elderly or who is not used to being out in the sun can become seriously ill in less than an hour. Our city has had extreme heat this summer, and our local news has been warning people that it does not take strong exertion or extended time out in the sun to bring on heat illnesses. Caffiene, alcohol, heavy meals all add to the risk factors.
Sad
Remember that children, marriages, and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get.
