I was given this new plant and it has a very long stem that had to be cut.The rosette's are beautiful on the plant.

Do i root the stem with rosette at end or just the rosette? It was cut last night to callous over & be put in soil to root today or however long it needs to callous properly!!!
I will post a picture of the plant and then why it had to be cut before it broke off itself..

It was cut above and below the stem where my fingers are.How do i go about rooting at least the rosettes? The top has 3 small stems with a rosettes on the end of each.

I do not know why the succulents are doing that at the soil line but that isn't the only one could it be to much or to little water?

Thank you very much and have a wonderful day!!!
A green thumb comes only as a result of the mistakes you make while learning to see things from the plants point of view!!
