Ann I use a 15 gallon tank sprayer since we have sooooo many daylilies to spray and they are soooo spread out. Plus I use the Daconil Ultrex which is in granual form so I have to mix it in the tank with the liquid in the water. If I were using 2 liquids (such as the liquid Daconil) and the same amount was used for both (such as 1 tsp per gallon or whatever) I would use a hose end sprayer that's made for liquids. It is so much faster than pulling the 15 gallon sprayer around in the cart. However, I think it might end up using more product using the hose end sprayer than the tank sprayer, but I could be wrong. I also mix in my fertilizer and insecticides and anything else I may need to use all in the tank so I only have to spray once instead of 3 or 4 times with different products because I usually have to fill up the tank 3-4 times to spray all the daylilies.
