And in the end...a happy beginning!
I helped beta test the Garden Planting Calendar Charter ATP Member Garden Sages Hosted a Not-A-Raffle-Raffle I sent a postcard to Randy! I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database!

And here I sit, waiting for a chicken to finish cooking on the grill, wishing I'd picked some okra to go with it as a side dish. Tsk tsk tsk...but hey, there's tomorrow!....

I like fresh fried okra, too, CDsSis/Marilyn. I most often cook it more simply in a big black skillet with a bit of olive oil, sweet onion, a clove of garlic if I have it, and stir-fry it till it turns a dark green and/or gets tender. A dash of salt and pepper and you've done it justice. Yummy!

I wonder if anyone out your way even grows okra, or can you? One day I hope to make it to Colorado; if my van burnt okra instead of gas I'd be there by this weekend! Smiling

Happy Day to you and yours.

Shoe (off to check on the chicken-on-da-grill situation, starving)
