Unfortunately you can't add a plant to your list unless it's in the database, HOWEVER, there is a way.

Add the main daylily parent plant entry (that is, Daylily (Hemerocallis) with no cultivar name).

Then edit the comments for that entry in your list and you can there list all the NOIDs that you have.

It's an imperfect solution, I know.
