I am getting 8-10 adenium seeds through our local plant exchange. They are coming in the mail within the next few days. I am new to adenium but thought I would try my hand at the free seeds. My thumb is green but turns black when it comes to seeds. Angry We'll see what happens this time. I didn't even ask about the color of the mother plant! But I will later. The Babies to Adult thread was very helpful but I still have a few questions specific to my situation.
1) I am leaving out of town for 5 days starting Thursday (tomorrow). What should I have my husband do with the seeds when they come in the mail? Put them in the fridge?
2) I will plant on Monday according to some of the suggestions on the Babies to Adults thread (pg 6): soak in hot water for 2-3 hours, remove the shell if it is easy to do. cover with 1/8" mix of peat and perlite. 50/50 mix?
3) Will it go into full sun to germinate? I am home only for a few days. Maybe they will spout? And when I leave again for my next 5-day trip?? What should I do with them? Protect from rains? Full sun?

Thanks so much!
