yesj. Hoarding can be a problem. 2 l plastic drink bottles. Make an osmosis weed killer container. Cut around the bottle about 8 inches from the bottom, where it starts to taper into the funnel--but leave about 3/4 inch for a hinge. Put the cap on the bottle. Drill a hole for hanging the bottle with a hot ice pick about 1 inch below the cutting line. Put a plastic S hook In the hole and orient the hook to hang over a branch. Squash the ends of weedy vines such as kudzu, trumpet creeper, autumn clematis, or Asian wisteria. Pour glyphsate or other weed killer at regular dilution into the body of the bottle. Insert the vines and hinge over the cover to keep birds, cats, etc. from drinking the toxic substance. This method will minimize environmental contamination when using toxic weed killers.

Winter sowing containers can also be made out of hinged plastic bottles.
