coconut said:60's is cold for sprouting seeds. And the surface should be kept moist, so the sprouts can break through. For the bugs, gnats, I sprayed a little bug killer, Malathion, on the surface of the soil mix. That kept the nasties away.

If you don't have luck with this bunch, I'll send you some more seeds.
