Everybody say hello to Peachlily, a friend of mine who just joined late this afternoon. I'm sure she'll be on here before the night is through. She has lots of questions that I can't answer. Fallen for dl's in a big way this girl has! She asked me this:
Also, I am wondering....Are all of those registered daylilies still in existence somewhere? Does someone see to it that the registered varieties are maintained for posterity? I hope so. I searched for heirloom daylilies and I guess there is some effort made in that direction, but it appears that many of the daylilies haven't been even photographed on the AHS site...that seems strange to me. Someone should get out there and photograph all the daylilies that have been registered.
Think you guys can take a stab at answering those things?
Also if you hadn't guessed by her screen name --- she's a fool for peach dl's. She tried our search function but there is no peach only orange & pink & then it tells her the search is too specific. Can you give her some direction on that front?
