It does look like an Anacampseros. I'll have to Google the various species to pin it down. Definitely not a sedum. The growth pattern is somewhat disorganized rather than spiraled.

Thanks so much giving me a starting point. Let me know if you'd like some seeds. (Judging from how fast the plant grows, you might have seedlings in about a decade.)
