Mike, have you tried? even tho we (but mostly you) get some frost it doesn't seem to kill any of the ones I have in the ground! I think it's too late to try it now but in the spring I'd give it some thought you might be surprised, maybe just put one in the ground and see what happens. This year I'm going to try one or two left out in pots to see if they survive, they will be cuttings so not a great loss if they don't make it. Doris that's one fat humming bird! I just got in from playing God,(separating the wheat from the chaff) Weeding. I get all kind of spiritual thoughts when I'm weeding, for instance I hope the Lord misses as many weeds as I do, maybe I'll sneak by and get a place to stay up there
Here is the hedge last year, I'll do my best to show you what it looks like now,tomorrow. Plants are much larger, I took the picket fence down, I tried black paper to prevent weeds but didn't like it so dug that up. It's a shame that few happen to be blooming right now but I'll take the pic anyway.
