Jelinda, your 'upright' sedum is not the kind that goes dormant and comes back from the underground roots, like springs photos.
Yours looks more like the type tarev is showing in her photo.
It probably won't lose all of it leaves, maybe be semi-dormant? Or not dormant at all. It will be fun to watch what it does this winter. For now I would put it in a deeper pot and give it some winter protection from too much rain. What do you think tarev?
